Course Introduction:
Students who master Algebra II will gain experience with algebraic solutions of problems in various content areas, including the solution of systems of quadratic equations, logarithmic and exponential functions, the binomial theorem, and the complex number system.
Goals & Objectives:
Students will advance their mathematical preparation for college and/or a future career through the understanding and application of algebraic concepts and skills. Students will learn constructively and contextually to foster connections between mathematics and the practical world around them. Some of the topics covered include:

- Functions and Their Graphs
- Writing Equations of Lines
Systems of Linear Equations:
- Solving Linear Equations by Graphing

Quadratic Functions:
- Graphing Quadratic Functions
- The Quadratic Formula and the Discriminant
Series and Sequences:
- Arithmetic Sequences and Series
- Infinite Geometric Series
Probability and Statistics:
- The Fundamental Counting Principle and Permutations
- Combinations and the Binomial Theorem
Trigonometric Ratios and Functions:
- Right Triangle Trigonometry
- General Angles and Radian Measure
