9th Grade - Spanish I
Ms. Devita LedgisterSpanish I Objectives:
The introduction to foreign language aims to familiarize students with some
of the major elements basic to the target language without over-complication
of verb tenses, grammatical structure or vocabulary. We strive to develop in
each student the ability to speak, read, understand and write in simplified
language. The most enjoyable aspect is introducing students to interesting
cultural points of Spanish-speaking countries. We hope the outcome is an
increasing interest in and awareness of his/her own language as well as the
target language.Course of Study:
Each student at Prep Charter High School receives three years of a foreign
language. This is consistent with the requirements for admission to any four
