The Prep Charter Huskies Varsity Soccer Team is a member of District XII, and the PIAA in the A division. The program has been in existence since 2006. In the 2009 season the Huskies were undefeated (8-0-2) Champions of Philadelphia Public League B, City Champions of the PIAA A division, and 2nd place in District XII A.

The program is guided by three principles: Commitment, Character, and Purpose. Each player, coach, and manager commits him or herself to the success of the team. That commitment manifests itself in summer preseason, practices after school, and, most importantly, hard work in the classroom. Last year the Huskies soccer team had the highest GPA of any team at Prep Charter.

The team maintains a high level of character on and off the field. The Huskies are proud to represent themselves, their classmates, and the entire Prep Charter community and do not take that responsibility lightly.

The Huskies soccer team shares a common purpose: to cooperate and work hard to maximize the teams success. The success of the team is not measured by wins or losses but by the manner in which they play the game, and the degree to which the team reaches its potential.

The team practices and plays at Smith field (25th and Smith Ave). Students need to have a PIAA physical filled out in order to participate. Summer preseason for the 2010 season begins on August 16th, at 3:30PM. We look forward to seeing you out there.
